SHIMIZU
Welcome to JYC Driving School. I'm Shimizu, a driving instructor.
I have 20-year experience in teaching as an instructor and examiner at a driving school approved by Kyoto prefectural public safety commission.
For 13 years out of those 20 years I was in charge of English training course. I supported more than 200 foreign students to get their Japanese license.
Approved driving schools are strictly controlled by Public Safety Commission (Japan Police). Everything must be done by following designated curriculum stipulated by law. This is well-organized and good for some beginners. This school system keeps Japanese roads safe. On the other hand, it can also be said that it's inflexible. Some people need more flexible training according to their situation.
Some of foreigners have long experience of driving outside of Japan. But driving in Japan is quite difficult even for them compared to driving in other countries. Japanese rules of the road are complicated, and people must drive on the left side of the road. This is rare in the world, and it makes foreign drivers confused.
In recent years, the number of foreign tourists and residents has been increasing. At the same time, the number of traffic accidents by foreigner is also increasing. This is becoming a societal problem.
The problem is there are few driving schools that can provide English driving lessons. There are few ways they can learn the Japanese traffic rules.
That's why I started JYC Driving School with my team to meet those demands. JYC Driving School can provide English lessons more flexibly according to your situation.
We also provide English driving lessons at approved driving school following the strict curriculum as the external instructor (if you like).
I'm calm and patient. I always try my best to teach driving so my students easily understand what they need to correct.

業務としましては、安全運転教育にかかわること全般ですが具体的には、事故防止、安全運転教育について35年間学んだ経験を活かしたうえでの、「安全運転企業ドライバー研修セミナー」の開催、および新人研修添乗指導、安全運転が継続できているかなどを判定する「安全運転技能診断」、自動車事故対策機構NASVA適正診断後のカウンセリング、その他個人のドライバーカウンセリング、各社ドライブレコーダー解析業務、運転管理者試験対策講座開催(出張で参ります)、元国土交通大臣認定運行管理者指導講習(基礎講習、一般講習)など国土交通省認定指導講師、元自動車教習所指導員、検定員の実績を生かしながら多岐に渡り、あらゆる安全運転教育を手掛けております。
また最近では、健康に起因した交通事故が多発している観点から、大手保険代理店協会、および脳専門医療チームなどと連携した「脳、心疾患に関するMRI健診支援運動」や「交通事故は待ったなし!! 処方より予防がいちばん大事！いますぐに!!」のスローガンを立ち上げ、全国のドライバーに脳検査などの推奨、また、居眠り運転の危険性や飲酒運転撲滅を訴えた社会貢献としての啓蒙活動も実施しております。
